About The Silent Echo

Detective Sarah Parker thought she'd left her past behind when she moved to the quiet coastal town of Harborview. But when a local woman vanishes without a trace, Sarah is thrust into an investigation that will test her skills and resolve like never before.

As she digs deeper into the mystery, Sarah uncovers a web of secrets that many in the town would prefer to keep hidden. Strange symbols, whispered rumors, and a growing sense that something supernatural may be involved all lead her down a path of discovery that challenges everything she believes.

With atmospheric prose and intricate plotting, "The Silent Echo" is a gripping mystery that explores the darkness that can lurk beneath the surface of even the most idyllic communities. Emily Thornton masterfully builds tension with each chapter, creating a haunting tale that will stay with readers long after the final page.

Perfect for fans of Tana French, Louise Penny, and Jane Harper.

Absolutely could not put this book down! Thornton creates such a vivid sense of place that I felt like I was walking the foggy streets of Harborview alongside Detective Parker. The twist at the end completely caught me off guard!

Emma Roberts April 30, 2024

The character development in this novel is fantastic. Sarah Parker is flawed but relatable, and I found myself deeply invested in her journey. The pacing was perfect and the supernatural elements were handled with just the right touch of ambiguity.

A masterfully crafted mystery with atmospheric writing that really draws you in. The town of Harborview feels like a character in itself. My only critique is that some of the secondary characters could have been more developed, but overall a fantastic read.
